2. WSD Middle School Orientation
The Waterford School District invites all incoming sixth-grade students and their families to the WSD Middle School Orientation. Administrators will provide an overview of the schools, introduce families to the expectations of middle school, and highlight a day in the life of a middle school student! Attendees will also gather class information and chat live with teachers about what they should expect to learn before heading to high school.

4. Rigor Summit 2022
An event for teachers, this one will present a set of common standards specifying the expectation, instruction, and learning experiences that intellectually, academically, and personally challenge students to develop deep conceptual understandings of complex knowledge and skills; such standards will be recognized as acceptable to outside accreditors, academic institutions, and/or current industry standards. Teachers will be able to partake in breakout, plenary and concurrent sessions.
